Mentally Healthy
What does it mean to you?
Being mentally healthy means feeling good about yourself, good about others and good about what you do. You enjoy the simple things in life, are interested in what’s going on in the world and feel optimistic about the future.
We’re here to help.
All psychologists at Rockingham Psychology are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
We are a team of psychologists and clinical psychologists, with differing backgrounds in specialist training and experience. Our clinicians are of a variety of ages, who work together to meet the psychological health needs of our clients.
Clients may refer themselves or may attend following a referral from their GP.
Self-referral
People may refer themselves simply by phoning Rockingham Psychology or using our online booking request form. Those who attend privately may also be eligible to claim under their private health care fund. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider for details.
Referral from a GP
Often clients are referred by their GP under a Mental Health Care Plan.
Having a Mental Health Care Plan enables individuals to claim a rebate from Medicare, which can be processed at our clinic.
A Mental Health Care Plan enables individuals to claim up to 10 sessions in one year (January - December).
Please note, we are not a bulk billing practice and a gap fee does apply. Please contact the clinic on 08 9500 9010 for further information on our fee structure.
Insurance claims and workers compensation
Individuals may also be able to have part or all of their fees paid by an insurance company if they have an accepted claim. For more information on insurance and workers compensation referrals please see our services page for more information.
